***CURRENTLY WE ARE HOLDING YL CLUB ON THURSDAYS!! WE ARE TRYING THURSDAY NIGHTS THROUGH MARCH 13TH AND WILL REASSESS AFTER SPRING BREAKS!!
We have volunteer leaders serving West Ridge High School and Dobyns-Bennett High School. Our leaders show up where kids are ... sporting events, practices, recitals etc. and build authentic relationships with local high schoolers. Leaders invest in the lives of kids and earn the right to be heard, so that our young friends can hear and understand that God has a plan for their lives and that they my live life to the full!
Young Life Club meets at our building known as THE THUNDERBIRD located at 548 Hidden Valley Rd.

Campaigners
Small group meetings
For our high school friends who want to dive deeper, learn more and grow their faith, our leaders host smaller group meetings one evening a week.
Committee
We have a group of caring adults working behind the scenes to ensure that YoungLife Kingsport can function at full potential through prayer, brainstorming, fundraising, marketing and building connections with the community. Our committee meets once a month at THE THUNDERBIRD (548 Hidden Valley Rd) and is always welcome to new members. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Stephanie Johnson at stephanie.ylkingsport@gmail.com.
Camp
Our local high schoolers have 3 opportunities to attend YL Camp each year!
Fall Weekend Camp
Weekend Camp is often one of the first YL Camp experiences for our high school friends. Typically held in October, students get a taste of what a full week of YL Summer camp will be like. The cost for the weekend covers round trip transportation, lodging, food, activities and a camp T-Shirt!
Work Crew Weekend
YoungLife Camp isn't possible without volunteers! When our local students attend weekend camp as campers, there are high school students from other YL areas working hard to prepare and serve meals, setting-up activities, working the snack shop and cleaning up around camp.
Each fall, OUR high school friends also get the opportunity to serve their peers from other areas to ensure that they have the greatest weekend of their lives. It is HARD work with long days. Spots are limited, but we always end up with a waiting list!
THIS FALL'S WORKCREW WEEKEND WILL BE AT WINDY GAP SEPT. 26th-28th
YoungLife Summer Camp
Young Life camping involves high adventure, lots of fun, great food and excellent speakers. Regardless of the facility, the experience is the same ... kids getting away from the pressures of everyday life, having fun with friends and their Young Life leaders, and hearing the message of God's love in terms they can understand. It is truly the greatest week of their lives!
